Bariatric Surgery Support: In It For The Long Haul
First Wednesday of every month 12-1pm via ZOOM
Having bariatric surgery is a life-changing, and sometimes life-saving, decision. Research suggests that people who have long-term, ongoing support have better outcomes.
We have worked with hundreds of clients through all phases of their bariatric surgery journey, and we'd love to help you, too!
This monthly support group membership will provide a safe, non-judgmental space to share feelings, challenges, successes, struggles, and experiences with others who have had bariatric surgery. Both long-time surgery veterans and surgery 'newbies' are welcome.
Every group will reserve time for participants to connect and share. Some groups may include a guided discussion, educational component, or guest speaker, depending on group preference. Discussion prompts, articles, podcasts or other applicable information may be shared, as relevant to the current members.
This group is specifically geared towards providing affordable, reliable and compassionate support to individuals who are committed to a long-term post-operative health behavior change focus.
If you are ready to acknowledge, share, and learn from the ups and downs that are part of life and health after bariatric surgery, then please join us.
Please note, this is not a therapy group.
